Every other year or so I'll take a trip over Sonora Pass to the east side of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range to look for fall color. Sometimes I get lucky and find some nice images but fall color can be difficult to take a photograph of for many reasons. This year I got a few nice shots and was able to play with a new Nikon camera that arrived the day prior to my departure. I liked this scene as it shows the wide open expanses of the land and the interesting golden hills leading up to the a portion of the mountain range. This shot consists of eight shots taken vertically and then stitched together in Adobe Lighroom to create a panorama.
